Ken and I planted a new tree this weekend. It's just a midget little guy but we hope it grows really fast! It's right outside my laundry room door where the big ficus tree used to be. The frost a couple years ago killed it and Jeremy chopped it down and dug it out for us one trip home, so we finally replaced it with this Sissoo tree. Hopefully one day it will shade Ken's office window and that whole side patio area like the ficus used to do. We sure missed that tree on the west side! You can see over to the left of the photo how the lemon tree has come back too, it was down to a stump from several wind storms that broke half the tree off, we've decided nothing can kill a lemon tree! Behind that is my garden which I'm patiently waiting to come up!
