Pizza night

We enjoyed a pizza night out with Amy's family last week. It was fun to see them as we'd miss them for our thanksgiving and it was the same day as their Anniversary. We have a great local spot that we can get pizza at, the boys love it with a few games....Papa's quarters...and then....You can walk next door to the ice cream place and fix the best sundaes yet! It was a fun evening!

We've another anniversary today to celebrate! Our Daughter Amy and Chris have their special day today! Here they are back in 2000! It's fun to look back and remember the special times of their wedding day!And here they are today with their 3 little ones! Happy 11th anniversary! We hope you have a lifetime of years together!

35 years ago today this cute little guy appeared into the world! Here he is on his 3rd birthday, that's Amy in the highchair...
And here he is today with his own little munchkin, Bode. I got to meet Chris and Bode for a bagel this past Saturday and snapped this cute shot. Do you think they are related???? I hope you have a great birthday Chris! Where do those years go when you see your first born with their own first born !

Here is a picture of Amy and Chris early one morning this last week, They are currently on a long awaited for vacation to Paris! One that's been in the plans for a long time and it's finally here! A fun first real getaway adventure for them without the boys. They are up in Carefree at their other grandparents home and I get to go get them on friday morning to come and play here until they get home on sunday night. I'm sure these 2 are having a great time by now and I warned them this just makes you hungry for more! We've heard from them a couple times with emails and texts and they are having SO MUCH FUN!

Fun catching up!

We had fun Sunday afternoon and evening catching up with Amy and Chris and the 3 little grandboys. They'd just arrived home from their trip to Colorado so they came over for Tacos and a swim to cool off and show us their trip pictures so we could hear all the fun tales! Here is little Ethan who discovered the diving board! Mr. brave at 2 1/2! We had a great time with them all and enjoyed some dessert with their photo's and all the sudden Aiden asked if they could spend the night................sooooooWe had an impromtu spend the night. They were beat so stories were read and they were in bed in no time. Up the next morning and we decided since it was to be 115 that day and I had to get to work that we'd go swimming first thing! So 7:00 AM and we were out in the pool for an hour before breakfast! Then by 8 we were starving so came in to eat Chocolate chip pancakes! They listen so well when they swim alone with me. Everyone stays close by in the shallow end and we all had such fun. Aiden swims great now, Garrett is pretty water safe if you are nearby and then Ethan never did stop diving in off the side and swimming to the step! Constantly going!
I'm sure he was tired this afternoon! It was fun having an early morning swim with you guys! We'll have to do that again real soon! 3 little boys all fast alseep in the guest room, so cute! Aiden and Garrett share the queen bed and Ethan's in the toddler bed on the side, gotta love those smiling faces as all three came out this morning!

Today is Chris's birthday! I had fun finding some photo's to post (thankyou Dell for fixing my computer that was down all weekend so I could even go looking for the photo's to post! whew!)
