Here is Amy holding little Landon... he's graduated from his Doc Band so it was so fun to see his sweet little face, he was so dang cute in it but we are glad that phase is over! Our Aiden had one too so we know exactly what that took.....time...running to appts....more time with baths, drying, adjusting....more time than you can imagine! So glad his little head is just perfect!
Here's little Ethan....on the go...of course!
Aiden...everyone loved being outside, weather perfect!
My Dad with Landon...
my Niece Alissa....
Here is my newphew Mike with Corissa and Cailyn and Landon...
Alissa and Alan...
Hey look at this, the book that Alan helped coauthor is out now.....how cool is that....I wonder if someday my grandsons might get to their algebra class and find this! Yea Alan, that was quite a year for you!
My sister Marcy...the hostess with the mostess!
Here is Chris, he and Bode and Ethan are all watching something REALLY fun on his iphone.....who would have thought that Chris's Iphone would be playing Yo Gabba gabba! I still laugh when I see his sports car drive away with little boy songs pouring out the window that they are both "rocking out to"!
And Garrett with his favorite of the season....Pumpkin Pie!

Botanical Gardens in Phoenix
Our family all met last week at the Botanical gardens in Phoenix for a fun get together. Amy had rounded up free tickets for all, planned a great sub sandwich supper and we all met there after work. It's over by the zoo we like to hang out at but a bit further down the road and another great discovery. We had such a nice time and such a pretty venue to stroll around in, I'm already anxious to go back.
MB had all the boys having such fun on the bridge...metal, open, great for stomping your feet and making cool noises, love those little grins with the 2 cousins!
Isn't it neat what fun you can have running around and stomping your feet, Bode had a blast with the freedom and playing with his cousins!
Ken, Aiden and Amy...
More happy faces coming off the bridge!
Chris and Chris....
Priceless giggles aren't they!

Garrett you have the best smile!
Bode with his very cool first flashlight! Lots of sparkly lights. Only Grandma's buy 4 of those just for the fun!
Garrett with his cool halloween flashlight. They all got cool different ones that blink. Wonder if they'll last until halloween!
A few of the glass yucca plants on display yet from the chihuly glass exhibit a couple years ago, amazingly beautiful blown glass all lit up.
Ethan with his chips!

Now that Bode is toddling around it was quite the chase! He was lovin his time out of the stroller to toddle around!
gotta love Daddy holding his hand!
Amy and Aiden

Here's MB with Bode. Can you see the huge ant sculptures coming down the hill, they were all wooden sculptures and so neat to see.
Ethan checking out the huge dragon fly sculpture.
And we even saw a desert tortise, I guess it's rare to see one there.
Bode just looking cute!
Aiden, Garrett and Ethan...
And here's the gang. Can't wait to go back and look around more at this great area.

Our Staycation
We had a fun weekend at a local resort having a "staycation" with some of our kids. Their treat to their Dad for Fathers Day. Here are the little boys waiting to head to the pools.
We each had a room again and so there was lots of fun to be had! Here are Ethan and Bode...
Amy and Chris...
We had a picnic lunch , did lots of swimming and then lots of this! "Snack Central" was in our room so it became the gathering spot...
Bode enjoying the "tad pool"
Here's Ethan, he had a blast in the water. In another pool they have a big area about 2 1/2 feet deep, he had so much fun just moving his body in the water, swimming with big strokes under water knowing he could stop and stand up...
It was so cute to watch our room become full of games, toys and fun! You've never seen a bag of Hershey kisses disappear so fast!

After a pizza dinner in the room and lots of chatting and playing and hanging out one by one this happened....until we all called it a night and they were carried back to their rooms and bed.
Here's Bode with a strawberry to munch on...
4 little boys the next morning out by the fountain....
We had fun swimming the next morning too, lots of trips down the slides, in the lazy river and generalized staying wet and cool...

It was fun to all hang out together ! Thanks everyone for the fun time!
We ended our fun 24 hours together with a trip to 5 Guys. I'd never been before and we had fun there. Garrett was so attentive to Bode and seemed to always migrate over to see what Bode was doing. Fun little cousin time together!

A visit with the Fifes
We got to have a fast visit this last weekend with our Niece, nephew and great Nephews. Here I am with baby Landon! How exciting to get to hold him at 2 1/2 months. They drove down from Las Vegas to visit G-ma and G-pa so Ken and I snuck over for a quick visit.
Here's little Landon F., all 12+ lbs of him. He's very content and I had fun cuddling him and giving him his bottle.
Love the cheeks!
Here's Kimberly and Brian
Ken holding Landon
Connor at 20 months is busy and on the go. We didn't get to much time to even sit to play with him as he was ready to go down for his nap.
Connor I hope next time we see you we can play with you some more, especially cars!
Loved getting to see you all! I know decisions await you in the next few months on where life will take you, which part of the US to move to, Good luck, I"m sure wherever Brian gets to practice dentistry you'll make a wonderful home for your young family!
