Our Christmas Day

A  bit of the happenings around here on Christmas day!!!!  Our day started out with coffee and jammie time for all on skype with our Mississippi kids!  So tickled they called to share their Christmas morning with us!  I know the photo's are awful but it was wonderful to share the time with Jamie and Jeremy and Noah opening their stockings....

We quick got ready and got over to see Bode and Brock then, more fun jammie time!
And Grandpa the Great stopped in to see everyone too!
Bode in his darling Woody jammies that my folks gave him, what a hit!

A very fun first Christmas for Brock!  We had a wonderful breakfast with them, enjoyed the time playing and visiting.

We went home and came back for the evening of fun with MB's family.  Here are her folks with Brock.  They live in Idaho so really have to soak up the time with the Grandboys while here.  Wonderful tamales, lots of appetizers, what fun to share it all with them!

Christmas Eve

Well better late then never right!  Here is a bunch of photo's from our family fun on Christmas Eve morning. Chris and MB, Bode and Brock arrived.....gigantic stockings in tow....adults had all decided we'd all just get gifts for the little ones and only do our traditional stockings for the adults....who thought they'd show up with gigantic ones that the kids all filled for Ken and I! Cheaters!
Garrett all excited for the fun to begin!  You can see the stockings in boxes behind him....since stockings tend to overflow around here I put them in their "buckets" that I have for each as I collect things thru the year in my little "gift stash closet"  Everyone has a bucket and it keeps me organized!  Then when Ken wrapped them all the little things all went back into the buckets, stockings stuffed and back into the bucket... it helps the kids stay somewhat sane as they open up their things to put their goodies back in the bucket to take home...sometime in Jan. they wander back to Grammies house!
Our wee little dude arrived asleep....sweet little angel!
 Trying for family shots!

Ahh Brock is awake! So cute in his warm fuzzy Christmas jammies!
 Garrett and Bode....

And what is that loud Knock at the door.....
 Who can it be??????
Santa made a quick visit on a busy day for him!

Bode very interested in his sack!
 clear to the bottom!

Brock the only one game to sit on Santa's lap!
Look at Brock holding Santa's thumb!  so cute!
Santa had certificates for everyone that had been "good"!

Time to see what he brought!
Even Santa's elf got to hold the littlest one!

 Aiden had walkie talkies...
And Santa had just enough time to try them out with him!

Bode trying to "bake" his new pizza.....pretend food at 2 is the best!
What a fun day....a visit from Noah too!  Cousins looking at each other!
 Bode and Noah...
I think Brock really was looking at Noah! See Bode off in the corner trying to see....ahhh electronics, if they are around he's got to see!

Everyone had fun!  Mexican food for lunch.  Some had to be off for naps and on to more parties and family fun.  Amy's family got to stay and play games and new toys!  Aiden in his new "lab coat" for his science experiment box!
Garrett with his new rocket to build!
And time to decorate a cake to sing happy birthday to baby Jesus!  A whirlwind of fun and a very Merry Christmas!

Last day of 2012 started with a BANG!

Here's just a few shots from our family fun on the last day of 2012.  When I got off work in the afternoon we all met at the park to shoot rockets!
The boys each got a new rocket for Christmas so we had fun getting them launched!
 Even this little dude!

Sometimes I think the big boys are as much into it!  Ken is always all about finding the ones that might get lost!  Garrett's little "mosquito" ended up somewhere but that's kinda what happens with those, they fly so high out of sight you loose them.
Bode loved it again and I think will be ready for his own snap together one to build!

Love this photo, 2 little cousins!  We just needed Noah sitting there next to Bode, 3 little stair-steps!
Such fun, my boys loved rockets as youngsters and I guess it just continues!
