Halloween parade!

Lucky me got to go to a Halloween Parade this week! What fun was that to see all these cute kido's dressed up for halloween. They did a parade around the yard. Here is Ethan as Spiderman!Here comes Garrett with Ms. Amy ( otherwise known as Mommy!) The huge group of parents and grandparents are all standing in the driveway and yard by me and they came out the front door to the halloween music.
They stood here and sang 5 songs, so cute! This was the first performance for alot of these kids, 3 years old up to 5. They had their artwork from the days before up on the background with their names so several parents were taking pictures of that. So cute ! They have their witches hats on here for one song.
The best part was when Amy opened the door to make sure everything was ready and there stood Ethan with this cute grin of recognition and yelled up at Ms. Amy....Mommy , Grammy is here! Ahhhhh!

Ethans Party!

Happy Birthday Ethan!

I had fun looking back thru some photo's to find a fun photo of Ethan to post to celebrate his birthday! How do you pick when you have such a darling little guy !!!! Ethan turns 3 today can you believe it! Such a darling little boy! Your Mommy says you are filled with Spirit and we love every bit of that spirit!

So happy birthday to our 3rd little grandson Ethan! We love you!

Ethan and I had a Date

Ethan and I had our "date" this week. Amy and I chose the day that Garrett started his first day at his other preschool for our "date". It was the day before her open house for her preschool so it gave her a couple hours to "fly" around. Ethan and I went to the mall and played on the toys. Then went to the lego store. He picked a motorcycle duplo set to get to buy . We rode the escalator 2 times in a row and then went in search of McDonalds. He got to ride on this race car.....and then we got ice cream cones at diary queen. I got a dilly bar and he thought it was pretty good too, in fact he really liked it best, even asked to just hold it!

Ethan and Grammy have a date!

Ethan and I got to have a date this morning, I picked him up when preschool started and we went to the mall. We had time to play on the toys and then we went....To build a bear. It was such fun. I had never been before and Amy had a great coupon so it was fun for Ethan and I to go. He picked this cute little blue bear.
He got to help stuff it, and followed the directions from the worker very well. Here he is giving it a heart after he gave it a big kiss.
They give it a bath under this blower thing, then we filled out it's birth certificate and got it a box to carry home in ( altho he just wanted to carry it). It was a fun time. We walked down to where Santa was and peaked at him from the upstairs, then decided to get a little closer, there was only 1 person in line so we got in line, Ethan said he didn't want to sit on his lap so we just walked up to him, by then of course he wanted me to pick him up, but he did just look at Santa and he DIDN'T CRY! The only thing he said to Santa was "book" and pointed to the stack of freebie books santa was giving out, and he did say thankyou so maybe this year if Santa makes an appearance he won't cry!
We met Aiden and Garrett and Amy then for lunch after preschool was over and Aiden had a half day in 1st grade so we all showed up at Someburros and YES they got gumballs! Lots and lots of fun was had today!

Ethan's Quilt

Here is Ethan's quilt ! It finally is done. He was supposed to get it last month for his birthday so it's a bit late but now he can have a quilt on his big boy bed ! It was a fun pattern to try out. I got the background fabric and then cut up a bunch of my novelty fabrics so there is alot to see in all the bricks ! Here is Ethan today checking out some of the fun things he can find. The boys came over for lunch and then had the afternoon to play.....fort....play doh.....lots of hide and seek.Both these loaded sideways , The back is all firetrucks, one of Ethan's favorite things and here is the label...
and here is the sideways quilt ! Yea for another project done !

Little Boy Friday

We got to enjoy Ethan and Garrett this week for a morning. Amy and I had it planned to meet at the mall and boy it didn't take much for Ken to decide that was going to be alot more fun then paper work so he joined us. Here is what we saw in the parking lot when we drove up. See Ethan with his back pack on ! He's 2 now you know, so such a big boy !

We did ride the escaltor several times before Amy left, up and down and up and down !

Amy went on to run her errands so we all had fun on the mall toys...
And then a carousel ride !
At this point it was getting lunch time so Garrett voted for Chick fil a so we went to the one down the road that had toys.
Course Ethan didn't make it without falling asleep, so Papa got him in without waking up, he was beat from all the fun at the mall !
So Papa had his lunch with a sleeping little guy on his lap.

What a fun morning for us all !

Celebrating Ethan !

We got to celebrate our Ethan turning 2 today ! We all met at Peter Piper Pizza for a fun time. The kids enjoyed the games of course and Ethan looked so cute in his party hat ! He thought the skee ball was fun, and this is what you do when you are 2 and can't quite throw it far enough....
You just march right up there and put it in !!!! Ethan you are so cute !
Garrett got to play air hockey with Papa, boy is he getting tall to do this now !

Bode was there to join the party too !

Happy Birthday to my little Buddy ! Ethan I can't believe you are 2 today ! Have a fun birthday ! I can't wait until your party on saturday to CELEBRATE YOU !

Lookin at fish ...

Ethan wasn't in tip top shape this morning when I picked him up having run a fever the day before, so we went off to do some quiet things. Lookin at the fish was one of them. He really liked them and we ended up looking at them 2 times, once on our way out to find some new summer flowers for the yard at Walmart and then we had to go and visit again on our way back in !We did stop at another McDonalds I found that had a toddler zone so it was fun for him to play just a bit on the toys there. He had a bit of a nap on our way home so I hope you are feeling better today Ethan.

Best day of the week !

What a busy week, worked every day but had Thursday morning off to spend with Ethan. My boss is gone so we've been extra busy with things and cleaning out for a big sale while she's gone, so Ethan, thanks for the welcome break for a few hours to play with you before heading back to work !!!

Ethan and a finished UFO !

Ethan and I had a good time today, he had been sick the day before but he was feeling pretty good when I went and picked him up. We stopped to see Uncle Chris and then we had fun going to Uncle Chris's park, it's just the right size for Ethan, the toys aren't so big, he can do all the slides etc. Then he fell asleep on the way to the grocery store so we parked in the shade at the store and he had a 1/2 hour nap. He was happy when he woke up and we got my groceries and he had his snack and Capri sun. I could tell tho his energy wasn't tip top as he usually doesn't fall asleep, but isn't he precious !!!! So I finished another UFO. Yep this is the wallhanging that has been hanging in the family room now for a couple years unfinished ! But YEAH , it's done now !

Ethan

Ethan and I had fun yesterday ! We went to the park and had a great time out in the sunshine !He is just so good at slides, he seems to know which ones he can go down frontways but most he turns around atomatically to go down on his belly !

Spring has arrived !

What a beautiful day in Arizona today ! It was chilly in the 50's this morning but it was great as the morning wore on it warmed up and I got to take my little Thursday buddy to an outdoor play area at the San Tan Mall. We got to go visit the pet store, Ethan loved looking in the outside window and then he saw people go in and figured there was more fun inside so we went and visited all the puppies !

This was alot more fun than snacks in a cart at Walmart getting Grammies Groceries !

On another note for everyone I heard thru the Schuld tracking devices via Ken and Jeremy that the truck of cabinets is in Albuquerque! yea !
