Apricot Time!

Well it's Apricot time again in our back yard! The tree is producing, not as heavy as last year ( thank goodness) but they sure are good. All the sudden the ripened when it got hot this last weekThe boys came over so we did some picking and some swimming..... Here is Aiden, brrrr the water was cold but he had a blast! I don't know if you can tell in the photo but there are NO front teeth!
Amy went home with several trays for them all to eat and cook with...
Garrett loved them, how fun to pick an apricot, jump in the pool to wash it off and eat it!

Ethan did great figuring out how to open it up and get the seed out.
We sure had a fun day!
So a double batch of apricot butter went in 2 crock pots....
The next day a big batch of apricot jam. I'll be making all things apricot for the next couple weeks!
