Amy invited me to go to the zoo with her and the 3 boys, what a fun relaxing day. We love going and just wandering and seeing what the boys like to do. This time we saw a few animals...not a ton as there were so many other fun things to do, playing in the water, throwing rocks into the little streams. Playing in the sand and lining up rocks and sticks. Here they are looking at the amazing amounts of turtles swimming in the lake.
They consumed an entire bag of strawberries, Ethan jams them onto his finger and then eats them like a Popsicle!
The weather was beautiful out, not to hot, almost to chilly to run in the splash pad.
They all got a squished penny... It's so much fun to have a zoo membership as you can go and just wander around and see things and enjoy being outside as often as you like.
Here's Ethan, I think he's grown about 5 inches in the last month, he's getting so tall. He and I enjoyed a carousel ride, he chose the lion to ride on.
We sat on a bench in the aviary and ate our peanut butter sandwiches and watched the birds swoop around us. It was such a fun day. Thanks for inviting me along!
