Vickie Made it !

Well after months and months of planning Vickie has arrived ! Here is Jamie's Mom and Ken at the airport, getting ready to load her worldly possessions of 2 suitcases and Joseph's wheelchair into the truck ! Vickie and Bruce and Joseph have decided to move to Arizona and make it their new home, so welcome to the Ciotta's, we are glad you are here ! Vickie is staying the day with us, we are headed out to have pizza with Amy's family and then home for the night, she will meet Bruce and Joseph tomorrow when the medical transport arrives from New Jersey ! So we are having a bit of rest time now, we've gotten our chores done... taken a quick driving tour thru Gilbert on the way to the shop where their van was delivered by car transport earlier this week. We retrieved the van and decided it was in need of a car wash after all those miles on a car carrier thru the east coast and clear across the US. We even had the "how do you get gas" lesson for Vickie, as in NJ you don't pump your own gas....she's a pro now ! Lots of settling in for them in the next few weeks as they find their way around , it'll be great to have them in Arizona ! (So for you 4 daughters that are all across the world, your Mom is here in good shape and great spirit, I know you are waiting to hear ! )

  1. Hi Mom! We're glad you made it to AZ! Thanks for posting this, Terry. We've enjoyed lurking on your blog once in a while and we're so glad you posted this update and picture. Mom, you look so happy to be there! We're looking forward to getting to know Arizona when we'll be out that way later this fall. Hopefully we'll see you then, Terry!
