The boys and I had such a nice relaxing morning. Amy had to take Ethan to the Dr. so I met her at this little park that has fountains to play in. And the "big boys" and I had a fun time! Here is Garrett with his rock....he had a rock thing going today ! He had quite the collection in his pocket before we left.
Aiden is on his fall break so it was so fun to do things with him too !
Ethan got to play in the water fountain for a few minutes too !
He's so cute waiting for the water to pop up !
There is a great big granite ball that rotatoes with the water splashing from above! It was fun to splat a leaf on it and watch the rotation.
Then we went to the Riparian preserve, another favorite spot.
We had fun playing and went hiking around.
Spied little minnows in the stream and the lake. Lots of ducks and Coots to watch dive to the bottom.
We found this great little spot in the shade to add rocks and dirt to the "dam". More rocks and gravel went into Garrett's pocket !
It was time to meet Amy and Ethan then so off we went to Dairy Queen for lunch, everyone was hungry and of course we needed a treat !
Aiden got to help me pick out a "surprise" cake for Ken's birthday ( Ken you make sure you are surprised !) at Dairy queen. Jeremy will be here to help us celebrate so we got the cake and they offered to write on it, so I asked Aiden what it should say and he said Happy Birthday Papa, so that's what's on your cake Ken !
