Our poor lemon tree struggled this year, it broke off due to the weight of the fruit, then it broke off again so there was absolutely nothing left but one little leaf near the top where it broke, it totally self destructed. I wish I would have taken a picture of it then, it was just a tree trunk. Well that was in Feburary, and look at it now, it's really doing well and every week I have to go out and break off all the little leaves and branches that are trying to grow up the trunk. We've decided nothing can kill a lemon tree !
